Information Seminar for veterans and community members, 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, with several representatives from various agencies including Maine’s Veterans Service Bureau, Veterans Administration Benefit Administration, Martin’s Point Health and Pine Street Legal veterans services. The event is open to all and is held at American Legion Post 36, Boothbay Industrial Park, Boothbay.
Volunteers are needed to help conduct a survey of Maine’s homeless veterans Jan. 27-29. The “point in time” survey hopes to have a volunteer in every Maine town to conduct the count in 2016.
