PORTLAND — Former Lewiston City Councilor Craig Saddlemire will speak to the Portland Tenant’s Union at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 10, about housing justice and efforts to fight housing discrimination and exploitation.
Saddlemire, now an organizer with the Raise-Op Housing Cooperative, is expected to speak for 30 minutes and then answer questions. The public is invited and asked to bring food to share.
The meeting, cosponsored by Portland Green Independent Committee and the Greater Portland Community Land Trust, will be held at A Space for Grace, 1 Marginal Way, above Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
