BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick Junior High School eighth-grade girls basketball team fell to Oxford Hills on Wednesday, 49-22.

The Vikings jumped out to a 17- 5 first- quarter lead, led 31-11 at the half and 40-15 through three.

Julia Colby had 11 points in the win.

Alexis Guptil and Grace Clendening had nine points apiece for the 2- 2 Huskies.

At the free- throw line, Oxford Hills (5-0) was 5-of- 11 and Brunswick 2-of-7.
