Maine State Police have identified the woman killed in a car crash Tuesday night in Medway as 42-year-old Stephanie Nason of Milo.

Nason, who was driving southbound, was killed instantly when her car drifted into the median and turned over several times before coming to rest on its roof on Interstate 95. Stephen McCausland, a spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety, said police believe Nason became distracted while talking on a cellphone.

Nason was wearing a seatbelt during the crash, which was reported around 6:45 p.m. State troopers said the accident was not related to the weather.
