OSSIPEE, NH — Allison E. (Henderson) Robertson, 87, of 1 Sunset Place, Center Ossipee, died on Jan. 4, 2016, in Warner, NH.

Born on Sept. 30, 1928, in Houlton, ME, daughter of the late Albert and Mildred (Tidd) Henderson, she grew up in Maine and lived most of her adult life in the Merrimack Valley including Amesbury, Haverhill and Merrimac, MA and Plaistow, NH.

She and her husband Leslie retired to Ossipee in 1990. They shared a love of nature and loved the Ossipee area.

Allison worked as a bookkeeper for several companies including the IRS. She was a church organist and pianist in several local churches and was an avid student of the bible. She was also active in many nursing home ministries.

She won a battle with breast cancer and had been a survivor for more than ten years.

Predeceased by her husband Leslie E. Robertson in 2005, son George Robertson in 1993 and sisters Margaret Henderson, LaLaine Turgeon and Judith Norwood, she is survived by sons, Michael Robertson and his wife Diane of Silver Springs, FL, Daniel Robertson and his wife Mary of Haverhill, MA, a daughter Susan Robertson of Billerica, MA, sisters Patricia Wescott of Portland, ME, Marilyn Dodge of Freeport, ME, Millie Snyder of Lisbon, ME, granddaughter Tracy Barchand, grandsons Daniel, Timothy and Christopher Robertson, great-grandchildren Cassandra Robertson and Jonathan Barchand and great-great-granddaughter, Destiny Morrison.

Services will be at noon on Saturday Jan. 16, at the Effingham Falls Baptist Church, 45 Iron Works Road, Effingham, NH.

Burial will be in the spring in Grant Hill Cemetery Ossipee.
