Maine State Police say there is no sign of foul play in the death of a man whose body was found at a Durham rest area Tuesday morning.

Alan Kelley, 43, is from Durham but most recently was living in a Lewiston homeless shelter.

He was estranged from his wife and children, who live about five miles away from where he was found.

Police say Kelley had a hypodermic needle in his clothing and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is conducting toxicology tests before ruling on the cause of death, police said. Kelley also was not dressed for the recent cold temperatures.
