The second event in the MaineVoices Live series, brought to you by H.M. Payson, will take place on Tuesday, March 29 at 7 p.m. at One Longfellow Square in Portland.

The event will feature poet Richard Blanco, a Cuban-American who read a new poem at the re-opening of the U.S. Embassy in Havana, Cuba last August. Blanco, who lives in Bethel, wrote and delivered the poem “One Today” for President Obama’s second inauguration. He released a memoir, “The Prince of los Cocuyos: A Miami Childhood,” in 2015.

The conversation will be led by Portland Press Herald features writer Bob Keyes.
