BRUNSWICK — The annual Girls and Women in Sports Day will be held at Bowdoin College on Feb. 7.

This free event is open to all girls grades kindergarten to 12th grade. Participants must be at least 5-years old.

There will be two sessions for different age groups. Throughout the program, participants will rotate among timed stations each dedicated to a specific sport and run by Bowdoin female varsity athletes. The sports planned are field hockey, ultimate frisbee, rugby, soccer, volleyball, lacrosse, softball, tennis, basketball and ice hockey.

Participants will attend all sports stations. After the sports clinics the fun continues, as participants will enjoy pizza and snacks with the Bowdoin athletes.

The program will take place in the Farley Field House. The kindergarten to third-grade group session will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the fourth to 12th-grade program held from 1:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
