What a sad moment to greet my morning as I read about the poor dog that was thrown away at the Lewiston shelter.
It is not for us to judge or criticize why someone has to surrender a pet. However, to merely abandon one is unforgivable and should be considered criminal.
Shame on that person! I hope another animal never crosses their threshold.
