WILTON (AP) — Police say a pickup truck driver was killed when the vehicle went out of control, rolled over and struck a tree Wednesday.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene around 12:15 p.m. in Wilton.

Police Chief Heidi Wilcox tells The Sun Journal speed and slippery road conditions were contributing factors that led to the crash.

The driver’s identity is being withheld pending notification of family members.
