LISBON — An Active Community Environment Training will be held in 2016 on March 2 in Lisbon. The training sessions will help communities make it easier for people to be physically active, build places where people of all ages and abilities have the opportunity to be physically active and create a vibrant community atmosphere that enables healthy life-styles, social interaction, environmental quality and economic prosperity.

The workshop will include success stories and program and financial resources as well as active discussions and peer problem solving. Participants will leave the workshop with a good understanding of how to support their communities in becoming active places to live, work and play.

There is no cost to attend. For more information, visitmdf.org/events. To register visit tinyurl.com/2015-16- ACE.
