NASHUA, N.H. — Quinn Richardson scored 20 points and pulled down 12 rebounds Tuesday to lead St. Joseph’s to an 80-71 men’s basketball win over Rivier University.

Darian Berry added 18 points and Craig Luschenat scored 13 for the Monks (7-15, 4-11 Great Northeast Athletic Conference), who built a 35-22 halftime lead and led by as many as 19 points in the second half.

The Raiders fell to 3-19, 3-12.

BOWDOIN 73, BATES 51: Jack Simonds scored eight points during a 10-0 run that gave the Polar Bears (10-10) a 53-39 lead over Bates (10-13) with 11 minutes to play in Brunswick.

Simonds finished with 27 points for Bowdoin, and Lucas Hausman 17.

Marcus Delpeche led the Bobcats with 12 points.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

EMMANUEL 71, ST. JOSEPH’S 66: Sarah Higgins scored 19 points to lead the Saints (17-6, 8-1) as they built a 21-point, third-quarter lead and held on for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference win over the Monks (17-5, 7-1) at Boston.

Morgan Cahill scored a game-high 20 points and Kelsie McNamara added 11 points to pace the Monks, who had their final lead of the game early in the second quarter.

BATES 64, HUSSON 49: Nina Davenport hit three 3-pointers on the way to 13 first-quarter points in leading the Bobcats (8-13) to a 17-8 lead over Husson (15-6) in Lewiston.

Bates expanded the lead to 34-17 in the second quarter,and maintained a comfortable lead in the second half.

Davenport finished with 17 points, and Allie Coppola added 15 for Bates. Chandler Guerrette’s 10 points led Husson.
