Now that the hyperventilating in New Hampshire and Iowa has subsided, I would like to call attention to the largest voting group in the New Hampshire primary – 65 percent. That’s the number of Republican voters who chose Anybody But Trump!
New Hampshire is a significant event but hardly the best gauge of the national Republican electorate – just ask President Mitt Romney (39 percent in 2012) or President John McCain (37 percent in 2008), both of whom scored higher than Trump in New Hampshire.
There’s still plenty of time for a fully developed adult Republican candidate to emerge from the pack, and we won’t have to move to Canada.
