PORTLAND (AP) — The Portland Symphony Orchestra is going to give a shoutout to the Alabama Crimson Tide on the Fourth of July in Maine.

Music Director Robert Moody, a Clemson fan, plans to make good on a lost bet with Assistant Conductor Norman Huynh, a University of Alabama grad, over the outcome of the national championship game.

Since the Tide prevailed, Moody will have to wear an Alabama football jersey on stage and conduct the Alabama fight song during the event on Portland’s Eastern Promenade.

Huynh played with the University of Alabama’s Million Dollar Band. He said it’ll be his last responsibility with the symphony to make sure Moody dons the jersey. After the performance, he’s leaving to take a job as associate conductor with the Oregon Symphony Orchestra.
