SINGER-SONGWRITER TIM RICE will perform Friday as part of the Chocolate Church Arts Center’s “Kill the Chill” Winter Concert Series. Chris LaVancher, who was chosen as one of 24 Emerging Artists for this year’s Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, will be the opening act. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Curtis Room of the Chocolate Church Arts Center’s annex located at 804 Washington St. in Bath. Tim will be playing songs from his upcoming CD “Pillars” due to come out this year. Coming from a family where music was always being played, it would seem Tim Rice would do nothing but be a musician. However, Tim took the time to be a sports photographer, speech pathologist, husband and father, as well as an accomplished singer/songwriter for 40 years. Seats are limited. Tickets are $10 and available by calling the box office (207) 442-8455 or purchase online at chocolatechurcharts.org.
