PORTLAND — Portland Police have announced that a dead body found in the water Saturday near Dimillo’s Marina has been tentatively identified as James Dyer, 23, of Saco. Dyer was reported missing on Jan. 1 around 1:45 a.m. He was last seen in the vicinity of Commercial and Dana streets in Portland, according to police. The body has been transported to the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause of death and to make a formal identification, according to police.
