I just finished reading Bill Nemitz’s Feb. 14 piece, “A restless student, a retiring teacher and a lasting bond.” Wow.
What a meaningful compilation of words on paper – words painting a picture of a life that made a difference to so many. What a moving tribute to Gaetano Santa Lucia, a teacher, and an unheralded “changer of lives.” Many thanks to Mr. Nemitz for sharing that story with us.
Thank you to the Portland Press Herald and Maine Sunday Telegram for giving us Bill Nemitz.
