She was born March 18, 1941, in Biddeford, a daughter of Roland P. and Fernande (Nolette) Boucher. She attended local schools, graduating from Biddeford School. On June 27, 1959, she married Paul R. Delorge in Massachusetts.
Claudette was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed being a homemaker. She had been a home cake baker, and worked at Carol’s Card shop in Biddeford for several years. Later, she owned and operated Saco River Gifts in Saco.
She had been a Cub Scout (Pack 310) den mother. Claudette enjoyed sewing, and often attended prayer meetings. She always made people feel appreciated, and never had anything but a kind word to say.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Paul Delorge, on June 9, 2001; her brother, Michael Boucher, on March 13, 2004; her mother, Fernande Boucher, on May 12, 2007; a son, Steven Delorge, on July 19, 2007; and her father, Roland Boucher, on Feb. 8, 2016.
She is survived by: a son, Douglas Delorge and his wife Amy; a sister-in-law, Priscilla Boucher; a grandson, Michael Delorge, all of Biddeford; two nieces; one nephew; six great-neices and nephews; and two godchildren.
Visiting hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, at St. Joseph Church in Biddeford. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
