He was born Nov. 14, 1959, in Birmingham, Alabama, to James and Carol (Roberts) Robinson. He grew up in Sylacauga, Alabama. Shortly after completing optician’s school, Scott relocated to the Portsmouth/Dover, New Hampshire, area, where he married Susan Normand and helped raise two children, Sydney and Alex.
He worked in the Portsmouth area as an optician for several years. In 2004, Scott moved to Palmetto to take care of his ailing parents. After their passing, he settled there permanently.
Scott was an avid guitar player. He danced through life to his own melodies. He gave his son the love of music and his daughter the love of life.
Scott was a gentle soul. He was a good man, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by: his mother and father, James and Carol.
He is survived by: his children, James “Alex” Robinson and Sydney Robinson, both of Sanford; a brother, Bruce Robinson, of Oxford, Alabama; two sisters, Amy Lane of Anniston, Alabama, and Tracy Lewis of Sylacauga, Alabama; and many nieces and nephews. Scott also leaves behind a special friend, Cathy Clemmer-Middleton.
