The driver in a fatal car accident has been indicted by a York County grand jury on manslaughter and operating under the influence charges.

Police say Kyle Harmon, 20, was driving on Whaleback Road in Limington last May when his pickup truck struck a guardrail and culvert, and then rolled over and caught fire after crashing into trees. Brandy Norton, 23, of Limington died at the scene. Three others were injured.

Harmon, of Windham, and another passenger were trapped in the truck, while two people were ejected. Police said at the time that it appeared Harmon was traveling too fast for the foggy conditions.

A grand jury this week indicted Harmon on charges of manslaughter, operating under the influence, criminal speeding and reckless conduct. Harmon faces up to 30 years in prison on the manslaughter charge.

Norton was a Bonny Eagle High School graduate who worked as the assistant manager of a Subway in Gorham, according to her obituary.
