WINTER HAVEN, Fla. —Brendan Geary broke a 6-6 tie in the top of the 10th with an RBI single, and the Black Bears scored four more runs in the inning to beat Lehigh, 11-6.

Tyler Schwanz hit a solo home run in the top of the ninth to force extra innings, added an RBI single in the 10th and finished 3 for 5 at the plate.

Brett Chappel was 2 for 6 with a home run and three RBI for Maine (3-9).

MEN’S LACROSSE

BOWDOIN 13, SPRINGFIELD 5: Brandon Lee and Matthew Crowell each scored three goals to lead the Polar Bears (2-1) over the Pride (1-4) in Clermont, Florida.

Sean Offner added two goals and an assist, and Peter Mumford made 13 saves for Bowdoin.

USM 25, UM-FARMINGTON 2: The Huskies scored 10 goals in the first quarter and six in the second to take a 16-0 halftime lead as Southern Maine (3-0) cruised to a victory over the Beavers (0-2) at Gorham.

Nate Delgiudice scored five goals to go along with five assists, while Austin Watts scored four. Keegan Smith and Drew Shane each added three goals, while Seth Wing, Jaymz McStowe and Jeff Urmstom each scored twice for the Huskies.

WOMEN’S SWIMMING

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS: Sara Daher, a junior at Bates, finished second in the 200-yard individual medley at the NCAA Division III championships at Greensboro, North Carolina, to earn her 12th career All-American honor.

Daher’s time of 2 minutes, 2.62 seconds was 1.47 seconds behind the winner, Emily Hyde of Amherst.

LEHIGH 8, MAINE 6: The Mountain Hawks (12-5) scored four unearned runs in the top of the first inning, and Katie Schultz went 3 for 4 with two RBI to cruise past the Black Bears (5-7) in Tampa, Florida.

Janelle Bouchard had a solo home run, and Erika Leonard and Alyssa Derrick each had two hits and two RBI for the Black Bears.

BOWDOIN 4, PLYMOUTH STATE 2: Katie Gately drove in two runs on a single in the bottom of the fifth as the Polar Bears (1-0) beat the Panthers (4-5) at Clermont, Florida.

UNE 5, TCNJ 1: Amanda Vallante went 2 for 2 and drove in three runs to lead the Nor’easters (5-3) over the Lions (6-5) at Clermont, Florida.

BOWDOIN 4, MCDANIEL 0: Julia Geaumont pitched a complete-game shutout to lead the Polar Bears (2-0) over the Green Terror (4-8) at Clermont, Florida.

Katie Gately went 1 for 3 with two RBI, while Lauren O’Shea added two hits.

WOMEN’S LACROSSE

UNIVERSITY OF NEW ENGLAND 12, CASTLETON 11: Carly Sheehan scored the winner in overtime to lead the Nor’easters (3-3) over the Spartans (1-3) in a come-from-behind victory at Castleton, Vermont.

Jocelyn Davee led the Nor’easters with four goals, Nicole Carvalho added three, and Brooke Kelleher and Korinne Buhunsky each added two.

ST. JOSEPH’S 13, USM 8: Elyse Caiazzo scored five goals in the first half to lead the Monks (3-1) over the Huskies (1-1) at Portland.

St. Joseph’s scored five unanswered goals late in the second half to pull away for good, two by Elizabeth Elcock.

Elcock and Kat Gadbois each scored three goals, while Gadbois also had three assists.

Lauren Lessard, Sarah Pelligrinelli and Sam Campobasso each scored twice for USM.
