SUNRISE SERVICE IN BATH

There will be a multi-denominational Easter sunrise service at 6 a.m. on Sunday at Bath Library Park in the Gazebo on Washington Street in Bath. Everyone is welcome. For more information, call First Baptist Church at (207) 443-5356.

EDGECOMB COMMUNITY CHURCH

An Easter Sunrise Service will be held at 6:30 a.m. at Fort Edgecomb, 66 Old Fort Road, Edgecomb. At 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary of Edgecomb Community Church, greet the risen Christ with a service of word and praise.

Easter breakfast buffet at 8:30 a.m. before the Celebration Service at 9:30 a.m. An Easter egg hunt for the children will take place following the service.

POWNAL SUNRISE SERVICE

Outdoor sunrise services are scheduled for Houlton and Pownal on Easter Sunday. High school and junior high school students are invited to join members of All Saints Parish Youth Ministry for an ecumenical sunrise service at the peak of Bradbury Mountain in Pownal at 6:15 a.m.

A service will also be held under shelter at the foot of the mountain for those unable to climb. The group will return to All Saints by 9 a.m. For more information, contact Sheila Murphy at (207) 725-2624 or sheila.murphy@portlanddiocese.org.

POPHAM CHAPEL

PHIPPSBURG — The Popham Chapel, located in the Popham Beach village on Route 209 in Phippsburg will hold its traditional Easter morning service on Sunday at 10 a.m. Rev. Ed McCartan will officiate the non-denominational service, and Richard Hankinson will provide music. All are welcome to the service, followed by a coffee hour in the Chapel House next door.
