SPECTRUM GENERATIONS’ Southern Midcoast Aging & Disability Resource Center, located in the People Plus Center at 35 Union Street, this week hosted a community lunch in celebration of March for Meals. Guests included Bath City Councilor Terry Nordmann, left front, and Brunswick Town Council Chair Sarah Brayman, left middle. The national March for Meals campaign is an annual month-long event, led by Meals on Wheels America. It is designed to generate public awareness about senior hunger and isolation and to celebrate the invaluable services provided by the Meals on Wheels programs. More than Over 20,000 Meals on Wheels were delivered by volunteer drivers last year out of the Brunswick-based People Plus Center with drivers logging more than 1500 hours delivering meals and wellness checks.
