Hopefully, someone has already disarmed the delusional Thomas O’Connor of Falmouth (“Letter to the editor: Don’t discount lives saved when talking gun safety,” March 13).
Talk about irrational. Let me see. Someone being saved by someone else with a gun 2.5 million times per year! So, this happens almost 7,000 times a day!
The “liberal media” must be going to great lengths to keep this phenomenon under wraps. Clearly, those poor souls with “gun-phobia” are less in need of psychological help than the statistically challenged Mr. O’Connor. At least they won’t be endangering themselves or their communities anytime soon wielding a firearm.
I’m reluctant to assert the same for people like him.
