“Greenlight Maine,” a television series that promotes entrepreneurs, is accepting applications for its second season.

The show is a competition in which entrepreneurs present their ideas to a panel of business experts. The experts comment on the plan and question the entrepreneurs and will ultimately decide which entrepreneur will win the top prize of $100,000 in cash. The business ideas also attract investors – $1.25 million in investments have been secured for startups featured on the series.

The first season of the series is airing at 7:30 p.m. Saturdays on WCSH-TV in Portland and WLBZ-TV in Bangor.

Information on how to apply to be featured on the show can be found at greenlightmaine.com and the Greenlight Maine Facebook page.
