AUBURN — Skelton Taintor & Abbott associate attorney Jordan Payne has been elected to the board of directors of Community Little Theatre, one of the oldest continuous community theaters in Maine.

Payne is a graduate of Bowdoin College and Northeastern University of Law. In law school, she served as managing editor of the Northeastern Law Journal, worked as a legal intern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office Civil Division in Portland and as judicial intern for Norman Stahl of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Payne also worked as a McKeen Fellow for the Maine Volunteer Lawyers Project while attending Bowdoin, and continues to volunteer pro bono for the VLP.

Actively engaged in the legal and local communities, Payne has long had a passion for musical theater. At Bowdoin, she co-founded the musical theater troupe “Curtain Callers,” which remains in existence today.
