LOS ANGELES — The Middlebury men’s track team opened its outdoor track season with a seventh-place showing.
In all, 21 teams competed in the meet, with the Panthers earning 164 points.
Alex Nichols of Brunswick took seventh in the 400-meter run in 48.85.
Nichols also helped the 4 x 400 relay squad to a fourth-place showing in 3:20.82.
Middlebury is back in action at the California Collegiate Invitational on Saturday in San Diego.
