A Virginia woman who inadvertently left her purchase on the counter at L.L. Bean in Freeport got a pleasant surprise, WCSH reports.
Brenda Baker LaRochelle bought lobster lollipops as souvenirs for her daughters, but forget to take her purchase with her.
Bean employees apparently found the candy and the receipt and popped them in the mail.
WCSH reports that LaRochelle, who is originally from Bridgton, wrote off the pops and didn’t bother to call the store.
The pops arrived with the word “enjoy” handwritten on the receipt, according to her Facebook post.
She hashtagged her post #MaineTheWayLifeShouldBe.
Wow! This tops the cake!! I left these lollipops (souvenirs for the girls) in the store in Maine. L.L. Bean shipped them…
