The Brunswick Downtown Association is hosting “Diva Night” on April 15 from 6-8:30 p.m. at Maine State Music Theatre, 22 Elm St. in Brunswick. The event is intended to celebrate women in our community by providing an indulgent evening out with friends, neighbors and colleagues.

The women will have a chance to relax while sipping specialty cocktails, complimentary appetizers and a dessert buffet. Mini spa treatments, hair and make-up tricks, chair massages, skin analysis and other pampering experiences will be included in the ticket price. Groups of women are encouraged to gather together and join the fun, according to the BDA.

“Maine State Music Theatre is proud to collaborate with the Brunswick Downtown Association to bring what promises to be a blast of an evening,” said Curt Dale Clark, MSMT’s Artistic Director. “Get out of the house and rub elbows with Brunswick’s best divas.”

“DIVA Night is all about celebrating women. So, join the BDA as we team up with Maine State Music Theatre on an exciting and very fun event. Come and enjoy a bevy of delicious DIVA cocktails and scrumptious appetizers; sample a great array of products and learn a few tricks of the trade,” said BDA Executive Director, Debora King. “Many local businesses will be demonstrating their products and services all night long.”

The ticket price of $30 includes one cocktail. Tickets can be purchased online at brunswickdowntown.org/di va-night or at the following Brunswick locations: Wilbur’s of Maine, 143 Maine Street, It’s All Good Resale, 212 Maine Street and Pura Vida Day Spa, 138 Maine Street. This is a 21 and over event. Advance tickets sales only. Space is limited.

The evening will include Specialty Diva cocktails themed around MSMT’s 2016 shows (cash bar), hors d’oeuvres by Joshua’s Tavern, a dessert buffet provided by Wilbur’s of Maine Chocolate Confections, Edible Arrangements, Wild Oats Bakery and Union Street Bakery and music by DJ, Keith G.
