BIDDEFORD — Nine Biddeford Middle School students will participate in the John Philip Sousa National Honor Bands of the New England Region Thursday through Saturday at Gorham High School

Participating students include: Chevelle Berthiaume, Olivianna Bridges, Michael Delorge, Aurelia Leonard, Elizabeth Mills, Emily Posson, Maliha Raida, Emma Rousseau and Noah Rousseau.

The festival is open to the most outstanding woodwind, brass and percussion players from Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont in grades seven through 12. A concert will be given on Saturday at 3 p.m. in the McCormick Performing Arts Center at Gorham High School.

Tickets may be reserved for the concert by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope with $10 per ticket payable to: John Philip Sousa National Honor Bands – New England Region, ATTN: Ticket Chairperson, Mrs. RoxAnne Poitras, 12 Dow Road, Gorham, ME 04038.
