1 Thornton Academy: Last year’s Class A champion, Thornton Academy is led by junior Alex Hart, the defending champ in the 200 and 400, and junior Samantha Curran, who was third in the shot put at the state meet.

2 South Portland: Last year’s Class A runners-up, the Red Riots bring back top scorers Serena McKenzie in the distance events and Juliana Selser at middle distances.

3 York: The Wildcats return several scorers from a team that was the runner-up in Class B, including jumper Katherine Bullock and thrower Mary Freeman.

4 Falmouth: The Yachtsmen have several returnees from last year’s fifth-place team in Class A, including Lydia Farmer, who was third in the long jump, and Adelaide Cooke in the throws.

5 Bonny Eagle: The Scots will be led by Elisabeth Redwood in the sprint events and Kialeigh Marston in the distance events.
