Shaw makes late pass for PASS win at Beech Ridge

DJ Shaw slipped past Joey Dorion and Garrett Hall on a late restart to win the Pro All Star Series Super Late Model race Saturday night at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough.

Dorion, of Berwick, led most of the 150-lap race. He chose the outside lane on the final restart with four laps remaining in an effort to block Hall, who was racing on his hometown track. That created an opening for Shaw, of Center Conway, New Hampshire, to sneak through on the inside.

Dorion settled for second, followed by Hall, Dave Farrington Jr. of Jay and Mike Rowe of Turner.

Earlier, Ben Tinker of New Gloucester won the 40-lap PASS Modifieds feature.
