PORTLAND — A man who was stabbed in the parking lot of Denny’s at 1220 Brighton Ave. in April died May 20.
Anthony Best, 31, of Veazie, was stabbed in the restaurant’s parking lot April 28 and had remained hospitalized since. According to police, the incident began as an altercation at PT’s Showclub at 200 Riverside St. Two groups were separated by staff and left, but met again in the Denny’s parking lot, where Best was stabbed.
No one has been charged and the case remains under investigation. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 874-8533.
