KENNEBUNKPORT— Former President George H.W. Bush has arrived at his home on the coast of Maine, a sure sign that summer can’t be far behind.

The 41st president and his wife, Barbara, have been in their home in Kennebunkport for a week after traveling from Texas.

Bush has spent every summer in Kennebunkport except during World War II, when he was a naval aviator.

He’s hoping for a lower key summer than last year.

Last year, the 91-year-old Bush broke a bone in his neck when he fell at his home a little more than a month after celebrating his wife’s 90th birthday.
