We intend to vote yes in support of the Yarmouth school budget because, simply put, we love Yarmouth.
We moved here – like so many others – for the schools and the community. When looking for a place where we wanted to settle in Maine and raise our children, Yarmouth was the obvious choice. Not only was it a beautiful village, a short drive away from Portland, but it was a town with a real feeling of community that was known for supporting its schools. This support of education and feeling of community has drawn people who love Yarmouth and love being involved.
Every generation educates the next. Just as Yarmouth of old paid its taxes to build up a great school system, we’re proud to carry on the tradition and pay for the education of the next generation. For the love of Yarmouth, please support the school budget.
