Falmouth Town Councilor Claudia King has proved to be an effective public servant, demonstrating leadership on fiscal responsibility, land use, and preserving public green space.

Claudia helped to keep the municipal share of the mil rate flat for three years, and helped to craft the tax increment finance project to reduce taxpayer costs for road maintenance. She chaired the Community Development Committee, which updated residential zoning amendments to protect and enhanced our neighborhoods.

She supported the acquisition of Clapboard Island and Hurricane Valley Farm for public use and access, and worked to preserve Village Park at the old Plummer-Motz school complex. Claudia has also been a strong voice in support of the town’s environmental efforts, including energy-efficiency upgrades of town buildings, and the proposed solar project on the closed landfill.

I encourage Falmouth residents to join me in voting for Claudia King to serve another term on the Town Council.
