I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically support Democrat Ben Chipman’s candidacy for Maine Senate District 27 to replace Sen. Justin Alfond.
Ben is one of the hardest-working legislators I know. Whether he is working on passing legislation, meeting with constituents or building relationships with fellow legislators, Ben is always working on behalf of his constituents to make Maine a better place to live.
Ben’s reputation as a hard worker is surpassed only by his integrity. He’s a man of his word. In the six years we’ve served together in the Maine House, Ben has always, every single day, been honest and forthright and worked for the betterment of our state, not on his own behalf.
Ben has been a strong voice in the House for Portland. He is a man of great compassion. Please vote in the June 14 primary to send him to the Maine Senate to continue his good work.
