A 79-year-old North Yarmouth man was taken to a Lewiston hospital with serious injuries Wednesday evening after his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck at the corner of Depot and Mayall roads in Gray.
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office identified the motorcyclist as Ronald B. Dyer.
Police said Dyer’s motorcycle hit a pickup truck owned by Hancock Lumber around 6:12 p.m. The truck was driven by Joseph N. Koval, 42, of Yarmouth. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Dyer was taken to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston with “serious injuries” according to the sheriff’s office. He was still being evaluated late Wednesday and his condition was not available.
