SOUTH PORTLAND — The city will again host the Color Run on Sunday, June 26, at 9 a.m.

The 5K event, which starts at Fort Road near Southern Maine Community College and ends at Bug Light Park, is known for spraying participants colored corn starch and baking soda every kilometer.

This year’s Color Run Tropicolor World Tour 2016 will feature island-style themes and music. New this year is the Tropicolor Zone, where runners will be bathed in an array of tropical colors and island scents.

A portion of race proceeds will benefit the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital.
