Former Cumberland Town Councilor Michale Perfetti won a one-year school board term Tuesday, beating former school board member Peter Wilson.

Perfetti won almost 62 percent of the vote, beating Wilson 523-322.

Wilson resigned his seat on the School Administrative District 51 board last year, and was trying to get back on for the remaining year of his term.

Town councilors Peter Bingham and Michael Edes were re-elected to their seats, Michael Brown and Geraldine Sanchez were elected to the school board and William Lunt was elected to the Portland Water District Board of Trustees. All those candidates ran unopposed.
