Regional School Unit 14’s $43.08 million budget was approved by voters in Windham and Raymond Tuesday. Windham voters passed the budget 412-235, and Raymond voters passed the budget 209-112.

Voter turnout totaled 658 in Windham and 331 in Raymond.

Residents in both towns approved a measure to continue the budget validation referendum for at least the next three years.

There were no contested races for municipal seats in Raymond, where residents approved a $12 million budget at their annual town meeting June 7.

Windham residents will have an opportunity to vote on the municipality’s proposed $16.8 million budget at the annual town meeting Saturday, June 18. The meeting will be held at Windham Town Hall. A moderator will be elected at 9:45 a.m. and the meeting will start at 10 a.m.
