PORTSMOUTH, N.H. — A Maine woman who was pulled from the Piscataqua River after jumping from the Interstate 95 bridge has died.
Thirty-eight-year-old Tanya Neal, of Kittery, was taken to Portsmouth Regional Hospital on Thursday in critical condition. A hospital spokeswoman says she died Friday.
Authorities received a report Thursday morning that someone had jumped off the bridge that runs between Maine and New Hampshire.
New Hampshire Marine Patrol located the woman in the water between the I-95 and the Sara Long bridges.
