WARRENTON, Va. — John Emanuel Haramis, 75, of Warrenton, Virginia, died Friday, July 1, 2016, at Fauquier Hospital.
He was born Sept. 5, 1940, in Biddeford to the late Emanuel J. and Sophia M. Haramis.
John worked for 34 years at Mobil Oil, retiring as international marine marketing manager. He also served as president of the Byram Township, New Jersey, board of education in past years.
He is survived by: his wife of 53 years, Brenda L. Haramis; his daughter, Stephanie Haramis Fischer and her husband Richard M. Fischer of Parsippany, New Jersey; his son, John E. Haramis of Blacksburg, Virginia; his sister, Katherine Holgersen and her husband Harry Holgersen of Ewa Beach, Hawaii; and his grandsons, Zachary M. Fischer of Mt. Arlington, New Jersey, and Stephen J. Fischer of Parsippany, New Jersey.
