A Wrentham, Massachusetts, man was killed Friday afternoon in a one-car crash on the Maine Turnpike in York.
Maine State Police said Edward Goldman, 65, was leaving the turnpike at Exit 7 northbound shortly after 4 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle, which overturned and hit a tree.
Goldman was thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at Portsmouth Hospital in New Hampshire.
No other vehicles were involved, state police said. They are continuing to investigate.
