Fine Arts and Craft Show

Naples for the Arts will have its Fine Arts and Craft Show on the Naples Causeway from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, July 30. The festival will take place on the newly revitalized causeway, which boasts wide boardwalks, beautiful landscapes, a new bridge and an amphitheater for entertainment venues. Reservations are still being taken for 10×10 vendors space for $75. Rain date July 31.

Village Green Summer Fest

Crafters are wanted for the 2nd Annual Naples Village Green Summer Fest, also on Saturday, July 30, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The fee is $25 to benefit the Naples Historical Society and Information Center. Sell anything you’d like, from yard sale items to books and sewn goods, or fundraise for your group. Edes Falls Sewing Circle will sell homemade baked goods. More than 20 crafters are expected to attend. Join them on the Village Green for a fun-filled day with great people. Brian Curtis Johnson in concert

Every Sunday in the Summer, enjoy live music on the Naples Village Green at 6 p.m. This Sunday Naples welcomes Brian Curtis Johnson. The concert is held in the Naples Methodist Church in case of rain.

Boys Summer Soccer Camp

A Soccer Camp will be held for boys in grades 5 to 8 will be held from Monday, July 25, through Thursday, July 28, from 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m. The camp is designed to help the boys’ development of skills and team play, promote mentorship among older and younger soccer players, and provide a fun, positive learning environment for all skill levels. Naples Library

There are a lot of fun things going on this summer at the library. Cynthia Grimm will hold a book signing and talk about her book, “Snuggie Bear Goes to the Maine Wildlife Park,” at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 28. Tuesdays in July, the library offers free Tai Ji with John Cuadrado at 9 a.m. Yoga is being offered for adults and kids from July 14 to Aug. 24. Adult yoga is at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesdays for a $10 drop-in fee; Kid’s Yoga is 2 p.m. and it’s free. Storytime, held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. and Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., is always popular. The library will have a booth at the Naples for the Arts Festival, so do drop by and see them!

Host a Student!

AFS USA is looking for hosts familes. Each year, more than 2,300 exchange students from 90 countries come to the United States on AFS programs to study in high schools and live with host families. By hosting an AFS Exchange Student in your home, you will start seeing the world differently.
