Hannaford Supermarkets has recalled its “Taste of Inspirations” potato salad because eggs might not have been listed as an ingredient on some of the packages, WCSH-TV reported.

The company said those with an allergy or severe sensitivity to eggs could have a life-threatening reaction to eating the potato salad, which was sold in 16-ounce packages, the station said. The product has been removed from its shelves, Hannaford said, and customers can return the potato salad to Hannaford stores for a refund.

WCSH said the potato salad was sold in stores in Maine, New Hampshire and parts of Massachusetts and have UPC codes #7-25439-98423 or #7-25439-98422.
