Donald Trump’s campaign manager, Paul Manafort, worked for the Russians – has he really broken all contact with them?

Trump invited the Russians to hack the Democratic Party computers to gain access to confidential emails, and then in typical Trump style said, “I was just kidding – just being sarcastic.” Trump may have been kidding but his campaign manager wasn’t and the Russians certainly weren’t.

The Democratic Party’s files were hacked by the Russians, who got their first payback a few days later when Trump announced that the Russians should be allowed to take over Crimea from Ukraine without any opposition by the U.S. or its allies.

American authorities may not be able to prove that Mr. Trump authorized that deal, but the Russians will have all the evidence that they need to link Mr. Trump directly to this deal, and then they can use the evidence later if Mr. Trump should become elected.

This may just have been a business deal to Mr. Trump, but it stinks of one of the oldest and dirtiest crimes against our nation: treason.
