State Sen. Rebecca Millett, D-South Portland, has been a tireless and strong voice for District 29. As an advocate for education, Millett has worked to increase funding for education and to increase grant funding for our college students. As a champion for Maine’s environment and economy, she has diligently pushed for the release of the Land for Maine’s Future bonds. She is bright, articulate, focused, and dogged in her legislative and advocacy pursuits. Millett works across party lines to intelligently research issues and skillfully build bridges in order to create legislation that will move Maine in the right direction.
