What we saw Aug. 24 from our governor is the most egregious lack of gratitude that I’ve witnessed in my entire life. Roxanne Quimby donated over 87,500 acres, plus a $40 million endowment, to our state, and Gov. LePage didn’t even have the common decency to say “thank you.”

We, as state residents, witnessed again the ignorance displayed by this small man. My question is: Why don’t our elected officials call him on the carpet and speak out when he acts like an ignoramus? Where are they?
