PORTLAND — The 17th annual Trail to Ale 10K in support of Portland Trails will be held Sunday, Sept. 18.

Portland Trails spokeswoman Catherine Buxton said 2,000 fans and participants are expected to take part in the nonprofit’s largest annual fundraiser.

The race means some Munjoy Hill streets will be closed to vehicles, including Cutter Street and the adjoining parking lot, 6:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m.; Eastern Promenade from Congress Street to Washington Avenue, 8:30-9:15 a.m.; Washington Avenue from Eastern Promenade to Walnut Street, 9:05-9:35 a.m.; Fox Street from Washington Avenue to Anderson Street, 8:55-9:25 a.m.; Anderson Street from Fox to Plowman streets, 9:05-9:35 a.m.; Plowman Street, 9:05-9:35 a.m., and through traffic on Hammond, Gould and East Cove streets from 9:05-9:35 a.m.
